sunny spells this week, it's set to end overcast and wet but temperatures will stay in double figures before rising next week.
Scots are to bask in highs of 22C in Glasgow by next Tuesday, while Edinburgh will see temperatures reach 19 degrees and Aberdeen will be cooler at 17C.
There could even be a chance to catch a tan with the sunshine set to break through the clouds as 'sunny intervals' are forecast.
It comes as European holiday destinations are suffering in an extreme heatwave as air from the Sahara creates a "heat dome" over the Mediterranean.
