Scotland's best fish and chip shops named at top awards

Scotland's best chippies from across the country have been named at a top awards show. The Food Awards Scotland has picked out this year's winners from four regions around Scotland as well as crowning the overall winner.

The awards team said that all of the finalists and winners have helped "shape and build Scotland’s reputation of food".The winners of the Scottish Food Awards were announced at a black-tie ceremony at the Glasgow Marriott Hotel on September 26.The awards said the winners are a true reflection of high standards and customer service and are chosen by members of the general public.
