Scotland offered Ukraine World Cup playoff alternative by Poland as postponement decision looms

Scotland are lining up a friendly clash with Poland should their World Cup playoff with Ukraine be postponed. The Ukrainian FA have asked for their visit to Hampden on 24 March to be pushed back with football taking a back seat amid the ongoing Russian invasion.

Several members of the Ukraine team have signed up for the military amid the ongoing crisis. That comes while males aged between 18-60 currently in the country, currently under martial law, are not permitted to leave the war-torn nation.
