In Hear Me Out, which will be released on Thursday, she writes that she felt a "real connection" with Robbie over their experiences in the music industry and their "struggles" with their respective rises to stardom.
In an extract obtained by Metro.co.uk, Sarah tells that she was introduced to him at the after-party, hot on the heels of his best male British solo artist win.
