ok.co.ukSarah Harding has looked back on her time acting alongside Kate Ford on Coronation Street where she played the role of Robert Preston’s wife Joni.The Girls Aloud star, 39, opened up on the time she was on the cobbles, saying it was “hard” for her to get into her stride as a short-term character.
Sarah, who revealed she has no chance of becoming a mum after undergoing chemotherapy for her breast cancer, joined the soap back in July 2015 where she appeared in four episodes across two months.
Writing in her book Hear Me Out, the singer wrote: “It’s such an iconic show, an institution, and when you’re going on as a short-term character, it’s hard to get into your stride.
