Sara Bareilles just added a new milestone to her career: her first concert with a full orchestra! The Grammy-winning singer-songwriter played a show with the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra on Saturday night (August 17) at the iconic Hollywood Bowl venue in Los Angeles. Sara was joined by legendary conductor Thomas Wilkins and a beautiful group of musicians for the magical evening under the stars.

Throughout the 90-minute set, Sara performed her greatest hits, debuted new songs, and even brought some surprise guests to the stage. Keep reading to find out more… The set list of course included smash hit singles like “Love Song” and “Brave,” Waitress songs such as “She Used to Be Mine” and “A Soft Place to Land,” and fan-favorites like “King of Anything” and “Let the Rain.” Sara was joined by her opening act and Girls5eva co-star Renee Elise Goldsberry and her friends from the band Raining Jane while debuting her original song “Hands Off My Body,” a timely anthem for all women.

They also performed Sara‘s classic “Many the Miles” together! (Fun Fact: Renee revealed on stage that she was styled by Sara and she actually wore the suit that Sara wore the day before for an interview on NBC Los Angeles) During the show, Sara brought her musical director Nadia DiGiallonardo to the stage to debut a song, seemingly titled “Enough,” from her upcoming Broadway musical The Interestings.

The musical is based on the best-selling 2013 novel by Meg Wolitzer and Sara says she wrote this song before she even finished reading the full book!
