A Salford teenager has been found convicted of killing a 14-year-old schoolboy in a revenge stabbing. Carlos Neto was found guilty of the manslaughter of Gordon Gault during a tit-for-tat feud between two groups in the West End of Newcastle.

The 18-year-old, of Manchester Road East, Little Hulton, was cleared of murder alongside five other teens, Chronicle Live reports.

Neto, who delivered the fatal blow, and Lawson Natty, 18, were convicted of manslaughter. They and four others - Benedict Mbala, Daniel Lacerda, a 17-year-old and a 16-year-old - were found not guilty of murder. Try MEN Premium now for FREE...
