After the success of his city-wide happy hour at venues across Manchester last summer, Manchester’s night time economy advisor is putting his hands in his pockets again by paying for all food and drink at Thirsty Korean restaurant in Chorlton.
Lord teased the news on social media last night, telling his followers that he had selected an independent restaurant or bar to throw his support behind, and would be picking up the bill for all meals and drinks this Sunday.
Confirming the news this morning, Lord encouraged people to "eat as much as you want, drink as much as you want, and try and rinse me", in order to support a independent business.
