A full investigation will be launched after S Club 7's gig at Liverpool's M&S Arena was evacuated mid-set. Children were reportedly left "crying and shaken up" after the arena was plunged into darkness after a "minor incident" last night (Monday October 30).

People at the arena claimed they were told there was a fire which triggered an evacuation. The 11,000-capacity arena was evacuated before the audience was let back in some 15 minutes later and the concert resumed.

Shortly after the lights were turned off and the music stopped, a fire alarm started and people were told to leave the arena.
