Ever the lover of nail-biting drama, television icon Rylan Clark has hinted at the existence of a secret ongoing feud between some unnamed fellow on-screen stars. The widely-adored presenter and former X Factor favourite - who has hosted some of the biggest UK shows since competing on the ITV singing competition 11 years ago - took aim at the unidentified stars in a brand new interview.
Speaking with Waitrose & Partners' Weekend, the 34-year-old made several cryptic comments about the famous faces, including emphasising that they aren't as "nice and polite" as they seem to viewers at home. "People can see through it all now," he explained, without revealing any names. "People can see who are the real ones and can very much see who isn't." The Essex-born star - who finished in fifth place on The X Factor in 2012, where he famously had a meltdown when Nicole Scherzinger informed him he was through to the live shows - has since racked up an impressive CV.
As well as presenting the Strictly Come Dancing spin-off It Takes Two - which he recently announced his resignation from - Rylan sometimes stands in on daytime TV hit This Morning when hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby are away.
He also enjoyed presenting stints on Big Brother's Bit On The Side and The Xtra Factor, forming friendships with British hosting powerhouses, the likes of which include AJ Odudu, Emma Willis, Lorraine Kelly, Alison Hammond, Rochelle Humes and Eamonn Holmes.
