Ryanair flight to Tenerife sees six arrested amid 'stag do' fight on runway

Six people were arrested following a brawl on a UK flight to Tenerife reportedly involving members of a stag party. The incident happened on a Ryanair flight from London Stansted shortly after it landed in the Canary Island.

While police have not disclosed the gender or nationalities of those detained, it is believed that some of the arrested individuals are British, reports the Mirror.

Spanish newspaper Diario de Avisos reported that the fight broke out on the runway at Tenerife Sur-Reina Sofia airport. The incident took place this Friday, soon after the flight landed on the island at 2:30 PM. "According to witnesses to the events, a group of approximately 15 people who were celebrating a bachelor party clashed with three other people and at least one of them was injured," the newspaper reports."The confrontation took place when disembarking from the Ryanair plane, from Stansted airport, London, just before boarding the bus that would take them to the baggage claim area.
