Airlines Ryanair and Jet2 have both warned passengers that they could face delays due to French Air Traffic Control (ATC) strikes.
The walkouts, which are planned until Saturday, April 8, impact flights passing through French airspace. Ryanair said it expects flights to and from France to be “cancelled or delayed” in the coming days, while Jet2 warned of delays for the next week.
The ATC walkouts are part of a wave of cross-sector strike action which has erupted across France in recent weeks. In a statement on its website, Ryanair said: “Due to ongoing French Air Traffic Control (ATC) Strikes, we are expecting cancellations or delays on flights to/from France on 27-31 March.
All affected passengers will be notified as soon as possible.” READ MORE: Amsterdam tells Brits looking to take drugs for a ‘messy night out' to ‘stay away’ Ryanair urged customers to monitor its app and website for any updates on their flights.
