Chelsea, on the other hand, have struggled in the Premier League and are on the brink of a Champions League exit. Both clubs are under American ownership with Todd Boehly having taken over at Stamford Bridge.
Wrexham are owned by Hollywood stars Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney and the pair have raised the profile of the Welsh club significantly since arriving.
