Rutherglen's MP shows support for campaign by paying a visit to small businesses

Michael Shanks MP showed his support for an annual UK-wide campaign day by visiting a number of small businesses in the Rutherglen constituency.The Labour MP was highlighting Small Business Saturday, which encourages customers to support independent businesses in their locality, and business owners to promote their services.It normally takes place on the first Saturday of December each year, and is backed by American Express.The Lanarkshire Live app is available to download now.
