The new rules, which come into place on March 29, mean that outdoor gatherings of up to six people or two households will be allowed and groups can meet anywhere outdoors, including the garden of someone's home.
Those who do not live together must continue to maintain a safe social distance from each other. Under the new restrictions shopping rules are not expected to change.
