Ruby Rose has confirmed that she has quit the role of Batwoman after just one series. The Australian actress, 34, was cast as the first openly gay superhero leading a major television show back in 2018, with the show hitting screens last year.
And it was recently announced by CW, the network behind Batwoman had re-commissioned it for a second series that will not feature Ruby.
But Ruby announced in a statement today she has left the show. She said in a statement: "I have made the very difficult decision to not return to Batwoman next season.
