Ruben Amorim might be a stranger to the Premier League but, for particular Manchester United players, the 39-year-old is well-known and well-respected in the game.
Following a playing career largely spent in Portugal, Amorim started his coaching career with Casa Pia before he moved to Braga reserves.
He lasted three months there before earning a promotion to the first-team - leading to his appointment at Sporting CP in March 2020.
Since moving to the Estadio Jose Alvalade, the incoming United head coach has won two top-flight medals, two Taca da Liga trophies and the Supertaca Candidio de Oliveira.
