Royal Mail has revealed this year’s most wanted Christmas presents from the thousands of letters sent by children to Santa. Each year in the run up to Christmas, the Royal Mail launches its Letters to Santa scheme, where children can write and post a letter to Santa and receive a letter in response.
Although the deadline for sending a letter and getting a response from Mr Claus has passed, those who sent a letter before the deadline (9 December) should be getting their reply from the North Pole any day now. Now, the Royal Mail has revealed what were the most asked for presents among children this year. Retro classic toy Lego tops the list for the first time in seven years, followed by Barbie dolls, which have made a come back since the acclaimed film Barbie was released last year.
Following Barbies are scooters, Squishmallow stuffed toys, and bikes. Nerf Guns, headphones, PlayStation 5, Hot Wheels and make-up are also on the top 10 most wanted presents.
