ok.co.ukThe Duke of Gloucester, a lesser-known member of the Royal Family, has been doing more royal visits than the Princess of Wales and the same number as the Prince of Wales.
While the public often focus on how many engagements key royals such as Prince William and Kate carry out each year, they're not the ones who make the most public appearances.
In fact, last year they ranked sixth and seventh respectively. The Princess Royal has held the top spot for the past three years, with 457 engagements last year.
King Charles was second with 425, according to the Court Circular. The Duke of Edinburgh was third with 297, followed by Queen Camilla with 233 and the Duchess of Edinburgh with 219.
