Roy Keane singled out Fred as Manchester United's weak link during Sunday's comeback victory over Southampton. United went two goals behind against the Saints at St Mary's after Jan Bednarek opened the scoring with a header and James Ward-Prowse fired home a free-kick.

Keane has been critical of United goalkeeper David de Gea in the past, but didn't point the finger at the Spaniard for conceding twice in the opening 45 minutes.

Instead, the Irishman laid into United's Brazilian midfielder Fred, who gave away a cheap free-kick on the edge of the Red Devils area, which was converted by Ward-Prowse. "Well I'd be more critical of Fred, I think Fred giving away the free kick," Keane said during the half time break on Sky Sports.
