Blunt was adamant despite calls from Democrats and even a few Republicans for the president’s removal in the days since pro-Trump rioters breached the U.S.
Capitol, resulting in at least five deaths. "There is no way we're going to impeach the president.There's not the time to do it," Blunt said. "When (House Speaker) Nancy Pelosi and (Senate Minority Leader) Chuck Schumer were talking about it, it's obviously just another political point trying to be made.
