Romelu Lukaku says he has matured in Italy following his exit from Manchester United last summer. Lukaku completed a £73.7million move to Inter Milan last September having scored 42 goals in two seasons during his spell at Old Trafford.
The Belgian forward hit the ground running under Jose Mourinho but did not feel 'valued' once Ole Gunnar Solskjaer took over at United.
Lukaku informed United he wanted to leave the club last spring when it became apparent he no longer had the same role to play under Solskjaer, however it took until August before he was allowed to leave.
The 26-year-old has netted 17 goals in 25 games for Inter Milan this season, and he believes his rejuvenated form is down to his added maturity.
