Roger Waters has slammed 'some f***ing Labour MP in Manchester' for calling for his AO Arena show to be pulled as a senior councillor and rabbi also demanded the gig be cancelled.

The Pink Floyd founder is performing in Manchester on Saturday but he has been drawn into an international furore over claims the musician is sharing antisemetic views at his shows.

Rock icon Waters has already drawn criticism from Levelling Up Secretary Michael Gove and Labour leader Sir Keir Starmer has ‘fully condemned’ him for having allegedly ‘clearly espoused antisemitic views’.

Sir Keir has also suggested shows by the former Pink Floyd bassist should be called off - a view echoed by Bury South MP Christian Wakeford.
