Aberdeen have Robby McCrorie and Hakon Valdimarsson amongst their summer goalkeeping targets. Current Dons No1 Kelle Roos is out of contract and it is likely he will move on under freedom of contract.
The Aberdeen recruitment team have already put a list of potential replacements together and Director of Football Steven Gunn is currently working on them with incoming boss Jimmy Thelin.
Benjamin Siegrist had also been on their radar but it has been made clear that if he leaves Celtic then his preference is to move away from Scottish football.
Rangers are already aware of Aberdeen’s interest in McCrorie. The Ibrox keeper is going into the final year of his contract and has made it clear he is looking for regular first-team football to force his way back into the Scotland squad.
