A violent driver who punched a pedestrian eight times in a "cruel and sadistic" road rage attack has been locked up for a year.
Guy Webb, 28, was so angry that he had to swerve to avoid Alex Hodgkins, he got out of his car and thumped the man repeatedly.
A court heard Webb left Mr Hodgkins unconscious on the road with a broken nose. When Webb was traced and arrested the next day in March, police found his right hand was still swollen from the force of the blows.
