Rita Ora delivered a heartfelt tribute to the late Liam Payne at the MTV Europe Music Awards, describing him as someone with "the biggest heart" who was always ready to lend a hand.The former One Direction member tragically passed away at just 31 years old after falling from his hotel balcony in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on 16 October.

Liam's devastated friends, family and fans have since shared their own emotional tributes on social media with memorials for the pop star adorned with flowers, photos and candles across the country.

Hosting the EMAs on Sunday night (10 November), a tearful Rita honoured Liam and emotionally said: "I just want to take a moment to remember someone very, very dear to us.

We lost him recently and he was a big part of the MTV world and my world. "Liam Payne was one of the kindest people that I knew." Rita, who worked with Liam on their duet For You for the Fifty Shades Freed soundtrack, added: "He had the biggest heart and was always the first person to offer help in any way that he could. "He brought so much joy to every room he walked into and he left such a mark on the world." A photo of Liam was displayed on screens throughout the arena, and the audience was moved when One Direction's hit Night Changes was played, reports the Mirror.
