The 18-year-old has hit the ground running in his first season at Manchester United. In fact, he has started 15 of their last 16 games even though he only made his first start in the Premier League in November.
At first, Mainoo was called up to play for the England Under 21s team during the March international break. But after an eye-catching performance in United's 4-3 FA Cup win over Liverpool, Gareth Southgate decided to call Mainoo up to the senior team for friendly matches against Brazil and Belgium this month. Fans were shocked to find out that Mainoo has a famous brother, Jordan Mainoo-Hames, who was on Love Island and has more than 700,000 followers on Instagram.
