Rishi Sunak's popularity continues to decline as he lags behind Sir Keir Starmer in the polls, according to a recent survey conducted by Ipsos UK.
The Prime Minister's net favourability rating has plummeted to minus 21, with 47% of respondents expressing an unfavourable view of him.
These figures mark Sunak's lowest rating since he stepped down as Chancellor of the Exchequer in July 2022, which ultimately led to Boris Johnson's downfall.
At that time, Ipsos found that 50% of people held an unfavourable opinion of Sunak. The poll, conducted between June 30 and July 3, revealed a slight improvement in Sir Keir's ratings over the past month.
