Altay Bayindir joined in a £4.3m deal from Fenerbahce, while Sergio Reguilon and Sofyan Amrabat joined on loan from Tottenham and Fiorentina respectively - the latter receiving a €10m loan fee.
The trio joined Mason Mount, Andre Onana, Rasmus Hojlund and free agent Jonny Evans in filling the gaps in Erik ten Hag's squad.
