Manchester United will already have one eye on the January transfer window after adding seven players to their ever-evolving squad under Erik ten Hag this summer.
Andre Onana, Mason Mount and Rasmus Hojlund were the marquee permanent signings, costing £180million-plus combined, as four others followed them through the door on deadline day.
United swooped late on to sign Jonny Evans, Sergio Reguilon, Sofyan Amrabat and Altay Bayindir. Reguilon and Amrabat were signed on loan deals.
Back-up goalkeeper Bayindir cost €5million from Fenerbahce to offset goalkeeper Dean Henderson leaving. Due to constraints within the budget, further additions will be dependent on outgoings as United work to recoup vital funds to put straight back into the kitty.
