Rihanna promises R9 album will be ‘worth the wait’ and gives an idea of the release date

Rihanna might be tired of answering questions about her anticipated album R9, but she’s put fans out of their misery anyway by sharing a little update.The Wild Thoughts singer is yet to drop her elusive ninth studio album, which has been in the works over the past four years.

Instead, RiRi’s been focusing on her fashion and beauty empire with brands such as Fenty Beauty, Savage x Fenty and now, Fenty Skin.

Her last album, Anti, was released back in 2016 and fans have been desperate for new music ever since. Confirming that R9 is still a work-in-progress, Rihanna told Entertainment Tonight: ‘I am always working on music and when I am ready to put it out in the way that I feel fit, it’s gonna come out.
