Ridvan Yilmaz is heading to Rangers to pen a five-year deal, according to reports in Turkey. The Besiktas left-back is a target for Gio van Bronckhorst as he looks for cover after the departure of Calvin Bassey for Ajax.
The clubs have been in talks over a deal for the 21-year-old, but the Turkish club's £6m asking price had proved a sticking point.
That's until now, it seems, as multiple reports in the player's homeland suggest a deal is now imminent. Turkish journalist Kaan Bizytat reports that an agreement has been reached over a €6.5m (£5.5m) initial fee, plus 20 per cent of the next sale.
He claims that the player has left the Besiktas training camp in Spain and is on his way to Ibrox for a medical, after which he'll pen a deal through to the summer of 2027.
