The Colombian forward is pushing for a return to first-team action having been out with a thigh injury since March and could be back in time for Tuesday's crunch Champions League return against Union Saint-Gilloise.
Morelos is on track to sign a new deal with Rangers after Giovanni van Bronckhorst revealed in July positive talks had been held over his future.
The 26-year-old is into the final year of his deal but now looks set to extend that stay further after arriving for just £1m from HJK Helsinki in 2017.
