Earlier this month Scott launched a scathing attack on superhero films which he branded "f*****g boring as s***".The Blade Runner director didn't hold back when it came to airing his thoughts on the popular genre of film.Scott said: "Almost always, the best films are driven by the characters, and we’ll come to superheroes after this if you want, because I’ll crush it.“I’ll f***ing crush it.They’re f***ing boring as sh**."Their scripts are not any f***ing good," he ranted to Deadline.Despite not having made a traditional superhero movie, the 83-year-old believes he has helmed three, including Alien, Gladiator and Blade Runner."So, why don’t the superhero movies have better stories?
