Richard Gough has slammed James Tavernier for leaving Connor Goldson to conduct the post match interview that sparked an angry fans backlash.
Goldson has been criticised for claiming the Rangers squad has lost its hunger following a Premier Sport Cup semi-final defeat to Hibs.And the 28-year-old also said the game was effectively over as they trailed 3-1 at the break with new boss Giovanni van Bronckhorst watching from the stand.
Gough, who led the club to its historic nine-in-a-row achievement and skippered the club during one of its most successful ever eras, was critical of Goldson’s words but was stunned that Tavernier didn’t speak.
