Retired nurse reveals the secret to her age after reaching 102nd birthday

A Cheadle care home resident celebrated her birthday in an unforgettable way after hitting 102 years old earlier this month.

Doris Robins, who currently resides at Abney Court, owned by Care UK, enjoyed her milestone birthday with family and The Stockport Sea Cadets joining the party too.

The Abney Court team helped organise the meeting as well as a birthday cake and gifts for Doris which included a card from the Woman’s Royal Navy services. Doris Robins was born in 1921 and grew up in Tottenham, North London before moving to Leigh-On-Sea and Didsbury when she was growing up.
