A repeat Lanarkshire knife offender will spend his eighth Christmas behind bars despite a handwritten plea to a sheriff for mercy.
Brian Kinsella, 27, was told it’s up to him to ensure he stays out of custody during the festive season next year. Kinsella, of Springhead Road, Shotts, appeared at Airdrie Sheriff Court and admitted carrying a bladed item while on bail.
