Renfrewshire locals could be set for more sweat inducing heat as a Saharan surge could bring temperatures close to 30℃ next month.As many locals bask in the sun hoping to catch a few rays, there will be some wondering why the temperatures have risen so much and so rapidly.The extreme temperatures have been blamed on the ever growing issue of climate change. CEO of charity Keep Scotland Beautiful, Catherine Gee said: “The surge in temperatures that we are seeing is due to the global warming of our planet caused by human activity and the fact our climate is changing.“This means that extremes are made more likely, such as the record breaking heatwave that we have seen in Scotland.

Some people may see these rise in temperatures happening more quickly than normal.”Some of the major factors that are causing this change is depending on our activities such as traffic and the way we produce and dispose of food waste.Due to some of those factors, Scotland is getting warmer and this means that locals could see higher temperatures much sooner and more frequently than one might originally expect.Catherine added: “The record temperatures we saw were quite extraordinary, it is definitely something we should be expecting to see more frequently in the future and not just in the summer.”The heat can be a deadly factor for many to deal with and that is especially true for more vulnerable groups like those who are older.It is important for locals to
