Police in Ayrshire have issued a renewed appeal to trace a missing woman who left her family home without warning in the early hours of Friday morning.Lisa Haining, 50, disappeared from her home in Dundonald, around three miles south-east of Irvine, some time on January 20 and was last seen in the Castle View area of the town.
The mum is described as 5ft in height and of slim build, with dyed blonde hair and darker roots.When she was last seen she was wearing black leggings, an olive-green shirt, brown jacket and white trainers.
She may be driving a white Renault Twingo hatchback bearing the registration plate SJ65 JXP.Since she disappeared, her family has mounted a large-scale social media appeal in a bid to track her movements, while police are carrying out enquiries into where she may have gone.
In heartbreaking posts on Facebook, Lisa's daughter Emma said her mum had left her phone behind, making her all-but impossible to contact.Emma wrote: "She doesn’t deserve to be alone, to be scared, to not know her family just want her home like always.
