Rebecca Hall Joins James L. Brooks Next Film ‘Ella McCay’ For 20th Century

deadline.comEXCLUSIVE: Rebecca Hall has rouned out the ensemble cast of 20th Century’s Ella McCay, the new movie from filmmaker James L.
Brooks. Lowden joins a cast that includes Emma Mackey, Jamie Lee Curtis, Woody Harrelson, Ayo Edebiri, Albert Brooks, Kumail Nanjiani, Jack Lowden and Spike Fearn.
The film will follow an idealistic young politician who juggles familial issues and a challenging work life while preparing to take over the job of her mentor, the state’s longtime incumbent governor.
Brooks will also produce along with his producing partners Julie Ansell and Richard Sakai, who will produce through their Gracie Films banner.
