Prince Harry is set to return to the UK in less than a fortnight for the Invictus Games and it is believed King Charles has "left the door open" for a reconciliation with his estranged son.
However, the offer reportedly does not extend to Harry's wife Meghan Markle, who is expected to remain in Montecito, California, with their two children, Archie and Lilibet.
And even if she was planning on accompanying her husband, the King may not welcome her over fears she would "overshadow the message of the service".
Royal commentator Richard Fitzwilliams told The Sun that while Charles may be open to meeting with Harry, it doesn't mean he'll get a "warm reception" especially since tensions are high in the royal household after Harry released his book Spare and made several allegations against members of his family.
