Meghan Markle was a no show at King Charles' Coronation last year but her absence did not go unnoticed by other royals who were seen questioning her whereabouts, according to a lip reader. The Duchess of Sussex was invited to the historic event at Westminster Abbey on May 6 2023 but opted to stay at home in California instead as she celebrated Prince Archie's fourth birthday, meaning Prince Harry had to face his family alone. The young prince and his little sister, Princess Lilibet are believed to have not been invited to the event despite being the King's grandchildren as sources say it was because they are "very young".During Harry's solo appearance on his father's big day, Princess Eugenie's husband, Jack Brooksbank appeared to have a conversation with the duke about Meghan's absence. As we previously reported, a lip reader picked up on the interaction and claims Harry was speaking about his wife to Jack as they waited for the King to arrive.

Speaking to the Daily Star, the expert suggested the duke replied to an unknown question from Jack which referred to Meghan, saying: "No, she's at ..."Jack titled his head and allegedly asked: "And is she?" Nodding to confirm, Harry added: "It's not ideal."Jack is believed to have then told Harry: "If it makes [you] feel any better even I can do it" as Harry replied: It's not quite the life, is it?"The Duke of Sussex then appeared to shake his head as Jack said: "I haven't had time for that, not if it's over..."Harry then appeared to make a very cryptic remark, stating: "It's an eventuality."
