Meghan Markle was seen taking the lead from a seemingly 'slumped' Prince Harry as they touched down in Los Angeles amid a swirl of controversy surrounding their charity.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex had just returned from Nigeria when they were greeted with reports that The Archewell Foundation had allegedly fallen behind on some legal fees, reports the Mirror. However, a spokesperson for Archewell has refuted these allegations, and sources close to the matter have indicated that any outstanding payments have been addressed promptly.Upon their arrival back in California, Meghan was observed striding ahead of Prince Harry, an action that body language expert Judi James suggests might indicate her taking charge amidst the turmoil.
In contrast to their united front in Nigeria, where they were often seen hand in hand, this time Meghan marched forward to get into their vehicle while Harry appeared more subdued, dealing with luggage at the rear of the car.According to Judi James, who spoke to The Mirror: "Harry's shoulders look slumped and he walks alone, wearing what looks like a mouth clamp gesture.
Meghan looks much more like the one taking care of business. In Nigeria the couple were perma-linked, walking hand in hand and side by side, but here she strides off, ahead to climb into the car while Harry packs his bag in the boot, with her phone held aloft as though taking a call." In the captured images, Meghan is seen sporting a chic ensemble of white trousers paired with a long, brown jacket.
