United have made signing a striker among their top priorities this summer. Kane features on a shortlist of top targets, although Erik ten Hag's side are working under the assumption that Spurs will not sanction a sale this summer.
Spurs and England captain Kane is one of the best forwards in the world but is yet to pick up silverware with his boyhood club.
He has a year left to run on his deal at Spurs and he would walk away for nothing next summer if he does not agree fresh terms.
