We imagine that when you’re on live radio and something funny happens, it can be very difficult to try and control your laughter.
This was the case for RTÉ presenter Ray D’Arcy, who played a viral clip on his radio show of an Irish man trying to record himself wishing his son a happy 40th birthday.
The man literally couldn’t get past the word ‘hello’ before breaking into uncontrollable laughter. Ray then recounted a time when he and his wife, Jenny Kelly, were live on air and had to take five minutes to try and compose themselves.
