Buoyed by the pop crossover success of the singles "Love Story" and "You Belong with Me", it became the US' best-selling album of 2009 and was certified diamond in the US. The album won four Grammy Awards, and Swift became the youngest Album of the Year winner.

A rapper whose music appeared on Coronation Street and Radio 1 has admitted sexually abusing a toddler. Kieron Cunliffe, who is known by his stage name Mistakay, appeared in Sheffield Crown Court on Friday to admit six charges in relation to the young girl.

The 25-year-old, from Doncaster, admitted three counts of sexually assaulting a girl under the age of 13, one more serious count of assaulting a girl under 13, one count of taking an indecent photograph of a child and one count of distributing an indecent photograph of a child.

The charges relate to one victim, who cannot be named for legal reasons. He had been due to stand trial last May but will now be sentenced by a crown court judge on February 26.
