Things are running smoothly for the Dutchman so it will be a case of tweaks rather than a rebuild but he will hope to get John Souttar in the door before the summer.
A goalkeeper also appears to be on the shopping list for sporting director Ross Wilson with Allan McGregor and Jon McLaughlin nearing the end of their contracts.
