Rangers legend Andy Goram has experienced the “worst two weeks of his life” after being rushed to hospital following his cancer diagnosis.The ex-goalkeeper, 58, is to undergo a procedure which will establish whether there is a problem with his treatment.
Goram was taken to Hairmyres Hospital in East Kilbride on Wednesday with severe stomach pains. It came just days after he was discharged from Wishaw General, where he had been given the shock diagnosis last month.
Friends, ex-players and football fans from around the world have rallied round the Ibrox nine-in-a-row hero since it was announced he was ill.
His close pal Stan Gordon said Goram – nicknamed “The Goalie” – had been overwhelmed by messages of support during the “worst two weeks of his life”.
