The interim Celtic boss was in confident mood after his side's 6-0 win over Livingston but he cut a dejected figure as watched his side pass up a host of gilt-edged chances against their biggest rivals.
And Rangers simply tweeted: "The best team in the country." That was accompanied with an image of the city centre 'People Make Glasgow' building emblazoned with the battle cry "can you see us now?"Borna Barisic claimed Kennedy's view was "a joke" before the interim boss softened his stance during his press conference before the match.
