Steven Gerrard will throw a "spanner in the works" in a bid to leave Celtic trophyless. The 70-year-old former Parkhead star is certain the Rangers boss will leave nothing to chance as he looks to push for a Scottish Cup triumph to add to Premiership title glory.

Dalglish is a huge admirer of his fellow Liverpool legend and he is convinced Gerrard will mix things up on a day when the stakes couldn't be higher.

A victory for Rangers would further signal a changing of the guard in Scottish football but a win for Celtic would be a major blow for a side who haven't lifted this famous old trophy since 2009.

That's why Sir Kenny believes the 40-year-old will shake-up his formation in a bid to catch John Kennedy out. Get all the latest Sports news.
